Step 1
Prepare the koftas
Start by prepping the paneer cheese kofta by combining paneer, potatoes, cheese, almond flour, oil and powdered spices in a bowl. Prepare medium-sized balls and refrigerate for 30 minutes. In a heavy pan, stir whole spices, onion paste, ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree and powdered spices to it. Next, add cashew paste and saute until the mixture leaves oil.

Serve and enjoy!
Add sugar, salt, and water to the mixture and allow the gravy to simmer until it thickens. Add crushed fenugreek leaves and cream, and set the gravy aside. Fry cheese kofta until golden brown and drain the excess oil. Add fried kofta to the gravy and give it a good mix. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve malai kofta with naan, roti or steamed rice for a flavourful taste. Enjoy!
