Preparation Steps
Step 1
Prepare the paneer
Cut the paneer into slices. Sprinkle red chilli powder, chaat masala, and garam masala. Mix well and let it rest for a while.
Step 2
Make the batter
In a bowl, add besan, ajwain, rice flour, red chilli powder, and ginger-chilli paste. Gradually pour water and whisk to make a smooth, flowing batter.
Step 3
Assemble
Take two slices of paneer and place a cheese slice between them. Press gently so it holds together.
Step 4
Fry
Dip the stuffed paneer into the batter, coating it well. Heat oil in a kadai and deep-fry the pakodas until golden and crispy.
Step 5
Serve
Drain excess oil and serve hot with chutney.
