Step 1
Prepare the paste for tteokbokki
Start by cutting the fish sheets into triangles and rinse the rice cakes with cool water. Add chicken broth, soy sauce, sugar and gochujang and gochugaru in a pan. Bring it to a rolling boil and add rice cakes to the mixture. Stir occasionally so the rice cakes don’t stick to the bottom cook for about 4 minutes.
Step 2
Serve and enjoy!
Add the boiled eggs, sesame seeds, fish cakes, green onions and sesame oil. Remove the pan from the heat. Ensure that the mixture has enough sauce, add broth if more sauce is needed. Add a thin layer of shredded mozzarella cheese on top and simmer on low flame. Slide the hot tteokbokki to the serving plate and enjoy!
