Preparation Steps
Step 1
Pre‑warm and prep
Preheat your oven to 180 °C / 350 °F. Lightly grease a medium baking dish so the pudding releases cleanly later.
Step 2
Set up the water bath
This cheese pudding recipe bakes best in a water bath. Place a larger tray in the oven and fill it halfway with hot water—it helps the pudding bake gently and evenly.
Step 3
Blend the cheese mixture
In a mixing bowl, whisk cream cheese until smooth. Add milk, condensed milk, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk again until silky and lump‑free.
Step 4
Pour and position
Pour the mixture into your greased dish. Carefully set the dish into the hot water tray. This extra step keeps your cheese pudding recipe soft and silky.
Step 5
Bake until set
Bake for 45–50 minutes. You’ll know it’s done when the centre barely jiggles and a knife comes out mostly clean. Remove the pudding dish from the water bath and let it cool on a rack.
Step 6
Chill, top, and serve
Cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Just before serving, drizzle with caramel syrup. This chilled cheese pudding recipe is best served cold and creamy!
