Cheese Aloo Tikki with The Laughing Cow
Turn every day aloo tikki into a comfort-packed treat with The Laughing Cow. Easy to make, fun to bite into, and perfect for busy evenings or lazy weekends.
How to Make
- 1.
Make the Masala Mix
In a large mixing bowl, add the mashed potatoes, chopped green chilli, grated ginger, chopped coriander, red chilli powder, garam masala, cornflour, and salt. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
- 2.
Prep the Cheesy Surprise
Cut each The Laughing Cow cheese cube into four smaller pieces. These will go inside the tikkis for that gooey, creamy centre.
- 3.
Shape the Tikki Base
Take a small portion of the potato mixture and flatten it gently in your palm to make a base.
- 4.
Add the Cheese & Seal
Place one piece of cheese in the centre. Fold the edges over and roll it into a smooth ball, then flatten slightly into a tikki shape.
- 5.
Coat for Crunch
Roll each tikki in breadcrumbs so they’re fully coated and ready to crisp up.
- 6.
Sizzle in the Pan
Heat oil in a non-stick pan on medium flame. Once hot, place the tikkis in the pan.
- 7.
Flip Until Golden
Cook for 2–3 minutes on each side, or until golden and crisp. Don’t rush, let the crust form.
- 8.
Drain & Serve
Remove the tikkis and place them on kitchen paper to soak up extra oil. They’re ready to serve.
