Made with the goodness of cheese, this Middle Eastern dessert is perfect to enjoy at home for sweet cravings.
Ingredients:

| 250 g | Kataifi dough, shredded | 
| 100 g | Unsalted butter, melted | 
| 200 g | Mozzarella cheese | 
| 100 g | Sugar | 
| 1 tsp | Rose water | 
| 1 tsp | Orange blossom water | 
| 1 cup | Sugar syrup | 
| As needed | Crushed pistachios for garnish | 
Method
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). In a large bowl, mix the shredded kataifi dough with the melted butter until fully coated.
- Spread half of the dough evenly in a greased baking dish. Press it down gently. Spread the sweet cheese over the dough, then cover with the remaining dough, pressing it down gently.
- Bake the kunafa in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
- While the kunafa is still hot, pour the sugar syrup evenly over it. Let it soak for a few minutes.
- Garnish with crushed pistachios and serve warm. Enjoy.
