Cheesy Popcorn
This cheesy popcorn is light, flavourful and made with real cheese – perfect for anyone craving a fuss-free snack. A great go-to for mums packing tiffins or solo snackers working from home.
How to Make
- 1.
Pop your corn
Heat oil in a deep pan with a lid. Add 3–4 kernels and cover. Once they pop, add the rest of the popcorn kernels. Cover and let them pop on medium heat, shaking the pan gently now and then so they don’t burn.
- 2.
Cheesy magic time
Once popping slows, turn off the heat and transfer the popcorn to a large mixing bowl.
- 3.
Melt & mix
In a small pan, melt the butter and add in the mashed Laughing Cow Cheese. Stir until smooth. If you're using garlic powder, now's the time to toss it in.
- 4.
Coat the popcorn
Pour the melted cheesy mix over the popcorn and give it a good stir or shake so everything gets evenly coated.
- 5.
Add your kick
Sprinkle a pinch of salt and some chilli flakes or pepper if you like a bit of heat.
- 6.
Tuck in
That’s it! Fresh, warm cheese popcorn is ready to munch.

Garlic powder | Adds depth and savoury flavour without the need for extra salt. Garlic is also known for its potential immune-supporting properties. |

- In the USA, popcorn is often sold in giant tubs at movie theatres – but the cheesy versions have become a home favourite.
- India loves its masala twist – many folks sprinkle chat masala or chilli powder on their homemade popcorn.
- In France, cheese-flavoured snacks are popular, but pairing soft cheese with warm snacks like popcorn? Très délicieux.
