Method

  • To prepare this tender tandoori chicken at home, start by patting the chicken breast pieces until they are flat. Now, add curd, chilli powder, kasuri methi, salt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and freshly crushed green chillies in a mixing bowl. Mix everything well.
  • Next, coat every chicken breast piece evenly with the chilli paste and spread it. Add cheese slices or blocks on top of the chicken pieces and roll them like cylindrical logs. After rolling the chicken pieces, secure the cylindrical log with the help of a toothpick on both ends.
  • Spread the leftover paste on the chicken pieces and allow them to rest for at least an hour. After, an hour-long of marination, heat butter in a pan and start placing the chicken pieces without overcrowding the pan.
  • Cook covered for a few minutes and repeat the steps. After 2 minutes, roll the pieces again and cook for 2 more minutes. Once the chicken slices are cooked properly, remove the toothpick. For a special tandoori finish, grill the chicken on fire and serve hot with mint chutney. Enjoy!
