For the ice cream base:

For the cream cheese swirl:

Method:
- In a saucepan, mix the heavy cream, whole milk, and granulated sugar. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a simmer. Remove from heat.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks and then pour 1/2 cup of the hot cream mixture into the egg yolks. Pour the egg mixture back into the saucepan with the remaining cream mixture. Return the saucepan to low heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens slightly and coats the back of a spoon.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and add vanilla extract. Allow the mixture to cool. Later, cover and refrigerate for at least 5 hours.
- Meanwhile, you can start preparing the cream cheese swirl. To do that, start by beating the Britannia The Laughing Cow Cream Cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until it turns smooth.
- Once the ice cream base is chilled, pour it into an ice cream maker and churn it as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Transfer about half of the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and some spoonfuls of the cream cheese swirl mixture over the ice cream in the container.
- Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the cream cheese mixture into the ice cream, creating swirls. Add the remaining churned ice cream on top and repeat the swirling process with the remaining cream cheese mixture.
- Cover the ice cream container tightly with a lid and freeze for at least 4-6 hours.
