1 tspTurmeric powder
1 tbspGaram masala
1 tspGround coriander
1 tspGround cumin
400 gCanned tomatoes, chopped
1 tbspTomato paste
To tasteSalt
As neededFresh coriander, chopped (for garnish)

Method

  • Boil the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Allow them to sizzle for a few seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the finely chopped onion to the pan and cook until translucent. Stir in the minced garlic, ginger, and green chillies. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until aromatic.
  • Stir in turmeric powder, garam masala, ground coriander, and ground cumin. Cook for 1 minute. Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato paste, stirring well. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the sauce thickens and reduces. Season with salt to taste.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly. Ensure the spaghetti is well combined with the sauce.
  • Reduce the heat to low and sprinkle the grated Britannia The Laughing Cow Cheese Block over the pasta. Cover the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the cheese melts and becomes gooey.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve hot.
