Method
- Heat 2 tsp oil in a skillet over medium heat. Saute the red and yellow onions for 3–4 minutes until tender. Add minced garlic and cook for another 1–2 minutes, ensuring it doesn’t burn.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beans, sauteed vegetables, oats, egg, tomato paste, spices, and Britannia The Laughing Cow Creamy Cheese Sachets. Mix well, lightly mashing some of the beans for a cohesive texture.
- Divide the mixture into 6–8 portions. Roll each into a ball, compacting the ingredients. Flatten each ball into a patty shape. Refrigerate the patties for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Heat 1–2 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
- Serve the patties warm in buns, wrapped in lettuce, or as is. Add more Britannia The Laughing Cow Creamy Cheese Sachets as a spread if desired.
- Cool slightly before packing into the tiffin box, along with a side of fresh fruit or veggies for a balanced meal.
