For the salmon

For the bechamel sauce

| 3 tbsp | Butter |
| 2 1/2 tbsp | Plain flour |

Method
- To prepare this cheesy baked salmon at home, start by preparing the béchamel first. Now, melt butter in a pot on low flame then stir in flour, and mix until consistency is even and cooked properly.
- Next, pour milk while constantly mixing the batter. Ensure that the sauce is smooth and thick enough. Season the sauce with nutmeg, black pepper and salt. Place salmon fillet, skin side down touching the baking tray lined with a baking sheet.
- Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on top of the salmon steak and pour bechamel sauce on top. For a cheesy finish, top it with a quick melted cheese. Bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 at 200 degrees Celsius. Broil for 5 minutes until the cheese is golden brown. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley on top. Serve and enjoy!
