Classic Bruschetta Serves-10

Made with toasted bread slices along with a mixture of cheese, diced tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and fresh basil, this simple yet satisfying dish can become a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients:For the Tomato Topping:

For the Bruschetta Toasts:

Method

Dice the tomatoes and place them in a medium bowl. Stack and thinly slice the basil leaves, then add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Mince the garlic cloves. Add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic to 3 tablespoons of olive oil and set aside for the toast.

Add the remaining minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, remaining olive oil, salt, and pepper to the bowl with tomatoes and basil. Stir gently and let marinate for 15-30 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2-inch-thick slices.

Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush both sides of the bread with the garlic-infused olive oil you set aside earlier.

Sprinkle the tops with Parmesan cheese. Bake the bread slices at 400°F for 5 minutes. Broil on high heat for 1-2 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Wash and dry the mushrooms thoroughly. Remove the stems and place the mushroom caps face down on a baking sheet drizzled with olive oil.

In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, basil, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is incorporated.

Gently fold in the chopped and drained tomatoes. Divide the filling mixture evenly among the mushroom caps, spooning it in until they are full.

Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the stuffed mushrooms. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes.

Method

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Bake for 8-9 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.

While the bread toasts, prepare the topping. In a large bowl, combine the cheese, mayonnaise, toasted almonds, crumbled bacon, chopped green onion, and a pinch of salt.
