Method
Dice the tomatoes and place them in a medium bowl. Stack and thinly slice the basil leaves, then add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.
Mince the garlic cloves. Add 1 teaspoon of minced garlic to 3 tablespoons of olive oil and set aside for the toast.
Add the remaining minced garlic, balsamic vinegar, remaining olive oil, salt, and pepper to the bowl with tomatoes and basil. Stir gently and let marinate for 15-30 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette diagonally into 1/2-inch-thick slices.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Wash and dry the mushrooms thoroughly. Remove the stems and place the mushroom caps face down on a baking sheet drizzled with olive oil.
